I want to personally thank
the speakers, attendees and everyone involved in
making this year’s gala fundraiser and education
sessions a success. A host of physicians,
students, and corporate representatives from
various parts of the world attended the Gala and
World Summit hosted by the IAOD and Wayne State
University School of Medicine. We hope to
continuously bring information to the organ
donation and transplantation community as well
as recognize and celebrate the joy of new life
bought about through the gift of life.
Next year’s gala, April 25, 2008, will be in
recognition of the children around the world who
suffer from the lack of awareness and
willingness to donate life.
In closing, my sincere gratitude goes to all
those who continue to open their hearts, answer
their phones and lend their support to the IAOD,
for without you we would not be able to do what
we do.
