Quest for Life Program is one that has been in works for several years. This program allows us access into some of the biggest workforces in Metro Detroit. During this period representatives from the International Association for Organ Donation have been allowed to conduct education booths at various corporate events distributing literature and information organ donation and diseases that cause organ failure. Representatives have also hosted Brown Bag Lunch Sessions where power point presentations have been utilized to provide statistics, stories and calls to action regarding organ donation.

The IAOD has been present at Red Cross Blood Drives, distributed emails soliciting registration and completed surveys on employee views of organ donation for research purposes. The organization is still working on a way to secure funding for the project. Most recent attempt at a HRSA grant wasn’t completed because the funding level was decreased dramatically.

Funding: Currently the organization is working on new program objectives to find a potential funder. No solid dates for application are available at this time.
